Personality: Ran is protective of the ones she cares about, especially her younger brother. Despite her protective nature, she is quite childish. She's been known to complain and whine but, atleast she knows when to get serious.

Biography: Ran was sitting in class when the outbreak happened. While everyone was freaking out and rushing out through the doors, she was sitting at her desk quietly, waiting for the classroom to empty. It was then that she made her move. She grabbed an abandoned baseball bat and climbed through the ventilation system and made it out pretty easily.

She headed over to the elementary school and found that the infection had reached there as well. After sneaking in through the back, she searched for her younger brother, Nao. She found him hiding out in one of the storage rooms.

They left after that and Headed for their home but all they found nothing, but a lot of blood and chaos. Hurt, scared and feeling utterly alone, they wondered around looking for, other survivors and a safe place to stay until things calmed down a bit. Deep down, Ran knew that he parents wouldn't just go down like that and is determined to find them.
